Gulfstar Quality - Gulfstar Seaworthiness
Amazing Liveaboard Potential - Giant Galley - Long Range Cruiser
Famous Vince Lazzarra designed and built 1975 Gulfstar 43 MKII Trawler. These boats were made with a sailboat motor sailor in mind and because of that, they are very stable in heavy seas and feature a good quality of construction for their era.
This particular Gulfstar 44 Trawler-style motoryacht is very strong with Twin Perkins 135HP Diesels, perfect for long range cruising, along with a genset. She is clean, reliable, and the decks that were originally teak have been upgraded to glass. Electronics are minimal but sufficient, and the living quarters and seafaring ability are what set this yacht apart.
Inside is a large Salon that leads down to an huge open galley with 3 burner stove/oven, microwave, large toaster oven, a full refrigerator/freezer, and plenty of storage.
The V berth sleeps two and can be converted into a queen berth, with access to the forward head and sink.
Aft of the salon is a large bedroom equipped with both a queen berth and a large twin berth, full shower, head, and sink. The space here is truly amazing and it is a nice setup for a couple or a family.
Features both up and down pilot stations, a large aft deck, and plenty of windows for lighting.
