While Bill Shaw designed many popular and successful boats, the Pearson 35 was his best. In production from 1968 untill 1982, with over 500 built says volumes about the boats appeal. Still popular today, the 35 is one of the best values on the market. The 35's centerboard allows for more harbors and gunk-holes. Aft of the v-berth and to port is the enclosed head with a mechanical toilet and H/C pressure water with shower. Across to port is a walk way and hanging locker. The forward cabin can be closed off with a sliding "pocket" door. A folding table rests against the main salon bulkhead. To port the settee opens to a double berth. To starboard the standard pilot berth has been expanded to a double. The settee provides over/under berths. Aft again, the galley is of traditional athwartship design. Propane oven to Port, sink to the side of the companionway and a refrigerator to starboard.
