Fully equipped and nicely updated, this Extended Deck Motoryacht is ready to cruise. Volumous interior with pilothouse, large salon opening onto covered aft deck, walk-in engine room, 3 staterooms plus crews quarters (or 3 staterooms plus kids quarters). Large command bridge with storage for good size RIB tender. Custom boarding steps at transom.
Hatteras quality throughout. Great family cruiser!
Hatteras yachts are built to be comfortable cruisers and have generous accommodations and living areas. The forward quarters are intended as crew quarters but would also work well as a kids cabin. There is a head with shower in the forepeak, followed by upper and lower bunks on both sides; with storage below the lower bunks and in hanging lockers aft of the bunks.
Aft of the bunk room is a utility room which houses a deep freeze and a stainless steel topped workbench. There are storage cupboards above the workbench. Aft of the utility room is access to the engine room and opposite is the companionway up to the pilothouse.
The pilothouse is full width with doors to side deck walkarounds. The helm station is on centreline with a full bench seat along the aft bulkhead. The helm area features engine controls and gauges, navigation electronics and electrical distribution panels. The companionway to the galley and main salon is to starboard.
The U-shaped galley is entered from the starboard side companionway and features a Jennair stove, full size Amana fridge and freezer on the forward side and a Broan trash compactor and Bosch dishwasher on the aft side. The sink is outboard to port. There are many drawers and cupboards for dish, pots and pans and pantry storage as well as Corian counters throughout. The galley sole is teak. The area is practical and efficient with a surprising amount of storage. The renovation included a pass-through from the galley to the salon.
The forward end of the salon now includes a large counter and pass-through from the galley, built-in storage cupboards to starboard, sofa large coffee table and easy chairs along centreline and to port. The entertainment system is aft and includes stereo and TV with DVD player. The access to the enclosed aft deck is to starboard and the companionway to the staterooms is to port. With large windows and covered side deck walk-arounds the salon provides a comfortable "living room" aboard.
The salon opens to the aft deck which is fully enclosed and usable in all weather. This deck is wonderful for dining or lounging and provides excellent viewing of the anchorage. Aft is access to the stern boarding steps and to each side are wing doors that provide access to the side and bow decks. There is a wet bar on the cabin bulkhead with fridge, sink and lots of storage and counter space. An ideal space for entertaining or dining.
The master and guest staterooms are accessed via the companionway in the aft port corner of the main salon. The full width master stateroom is aft and has a center mounted queen berth against the transom. There are two opening ports on the transom, which provide light and air. There are bedside tables, outboard drawer and locker storage and hanging lockers. The ensuite head is forward to starboard and includes vanity, sink, vacuflush head and full stall shower.
The guest staterooms are forward of the companionway landing; the starboard stateroom has a twin single beds, drawer and hanging locker storage and an ensuite head with stall shower. The port stateroom has twin single beds, side table, drawer and hanging locker storage and an ensuite head with stall shower.
The engine room is accessed through a sealed door from the utility room and is an enormous space with high ceiling. There is plenty of room to service equipment and lots of storage for spare parts and tools.
Accessed from the pilothouse, the command bridge provides seating for a sizable group with the helmsman. There is a bimini top for some sun protection but this deck is aimed for use in pleasant weather. Aft of the radar arch is the RIB dinghy mounted on a cradle with a single arm davit system for launching and recovery. The signal mast is hinged to allow folding down for lower clearance for boathouse.
