The Sparkman & Stephens Tartan 37 was an immensely popular boat. Production began in 1976 and ran through 1989. Quality construction, an extraordinary designer, sailing performance that was hard to beat, and a comfortable and roomy interior made this boat hugely desirable, both then and now. CRICKET is hull 145 of 489 constructed and was built in 1978 as a 1979 model. She has had excellent care and shows beautifully. She is clean and neat, her bilges as clean and dry as any you will ever find. Hull was compounded and waxed prior to launch.
