Beautiful ketch refitted in 2006, still first owned in very good conditions. Details on request.
In 2005 she underwent a complete refit in Cantieri San Rocco Shipyard, Italy. In September 2006, after 9 months she was born again. Exterior: each single part of deck equipment was removed, gealcoat renewed and Awlgrip Offwhite was given; teak deck was replaced with Flexiteek with a big gain in terms of cleaning and maintainance, gunwale (falchetta), handrails, companionway and few other details were replaced with teak to maintain her elegant aspect. Davits were replaced with reinforced
tailored inox ones to sustain larger dinghy. New gangway and bath ladder were built in teak, iroko and inox. New equipment was introduced, Raymarine C80 chartplotter, Raymarine ST6000 autopilot, Raymarine ST40 depth sounder, cabling set up for radar (radar not installed), Lofrans’ windlass 1000W w/drum was installed with remote control w/count meter and independent battery set 100AH, Selden Furlex 300S for Genoa furling was mounted. Osmosis incredibly was not an issue, during the time out of water regular measurement were taken and only three very small spots were treated. Rudder was dismounted, because some water was leaking inside and solidly rebuilt. Plexiglass was replaced in all 19 hatches. Winches, frames of hatches and other small parts were newly chromed or anodized. Masts were checked and a set of stay replaced. New sails, Mizzen, Main and Genoa by Ullman Sails Trieste.
Interior: wooden floor and steps were entirely replaced, ceiling replaced in each cabin, upholstery was renewed, front W.C. received a new iroko floor and Jabsco toilet, front cabin walls were restored and painted, handles of drawers were replaced with modern models, led reading lights mounted in aft cabin, stereo hi-fi and speakers mounted in saloon and cockpit.
A total of around 100'000 euros was spent (pictures and invoice documentation is available).
Due to family reasons, she was rarely used after the refit, and only sailed in 2008 and 2011 summers. In 2014, a new round of maintainance have been done: hull was polished, light bulbs completely replaced with led, new clucth in ACI Marina Dubrovnik. In 2015 new socket and stuffing box of propeller shaft was mounted, Hempel Hard Racing red antifouling was given, and engine was completely renovated (today diesel consumption is a minimum record of 3-5 lt/hour). In 2016 electric system fully replaced with modern switches, new deep cycle battery set 400AH, solar panel 1000W and Western Marine charge controller. In the last two years, total of around euro 20'000 was spent in improvements.
