An attractive yacht with over 300 built between 1974 and 1981. A competitive club racer, also providing safe cruising and real offshore capability. (Transatlantic and Round Britain race successes).
Broker comments: Jasper has been substantially upgraded with professional topsides respray and enhanced interior. New Volvo 2010 fitted in 2000, with fresh water cooling. Mast is unstepped annually and new rig fitted around 2002. Excellent Sobstadt main and genoa with lightly used spinnaker.

Owner's comments: well maintained and good condition for age. Excellent seagoing capabilities - easy and comfortable to sail. Raced in Cardigan Bay and does well in both light and heavy winds. Currently ashore on trailer.
Hand laminated GRP hull, with GRP deck securely bonded to hull with anodised aluminium toe rail. The deck has a non-slip pattern moulded into the surface. There is a roomy self- draining cockpit, a transom-hung rudder giving good control at sea, a substantial iron ballast keel arrangement is securely fastened with stainless steel bolts and provides an unusually high ballast ratio.
Stainless steel anodised alloy spars - standing rig replaced 1999.
Volvo MD2010 10hp diesel engine, with twin cylinders and fresh water cooling. Installed 2000.
Layout is for 5 berths, with dinette arrangement and chart stowage.
