Terrific 1983 Hunter 34' Hunter sailboat, loaded with all the extras. This is a very fast sailboat design, but nothing has been sacrificed in sailing stability or comfort below. This boat has a very nice V-berth forward with the equivalent shoulder width of a queen sized bed, a hanging closet, and plenty of drawer storage.
Just aft is a separate head/shower to starboard with a separate walk-through vanity to port, equipped with a stainless steel sink and updated faucets. There is also a manual fresh water pump.
Aft of the head is the main saloon with a built-in dinette with comfortable seating for five to starboard (converts to a double berth). To port is a long, comfortable settee which makes into a very comfortable bunk for one. A word about the dining table in photo #6. Shown is a custom made table that seats three comfortably, but leaves part of the space between the foreward and aft settees as open floor space. This makes the boat feel more open and makes it much more comfortable when you have three or four (or more) people on board. It is just easier to move around with the extra space. When time to dine for a larger group, the table folds down to make a full sized table that can accommodate five adults. The original one-piece table from Hunter is unchanged and included with the sale.
Aft of the main saloon is the fully equipped galley to starboard with deep, double stainless steel sinks, an Origo 6000 non-pressure alcohol stove/oven combination on gimbals (so you can bake a level cake while underway). 12 volt Adler Barbour cold machine refrigerator / freezer is included in the ice box.
Starboard of the galley is the navigation station with an up-to-date VHS radio (connected to mast-head antenna for all the reach you'll need).
Aft of that to port is the louvered door that closes off the master stateroom. Here you'll find the equivalent of a very comfortable king sized bed, with standing room to dress, a hanging closet and plenty of storage.
Central air conditioning and heat is included with a digital thermostat to keep you cozy and warm on those cold Carolina winter nights or chilly and comfy on a hot summer evening.
Main and jib sails are in good condition and have been recently professionally maintained by a local sailmaker in Oriental. Harken roller furling for the genoa makes single-handing this boat a breeze, especially when coupled with the Autohelm autopilot. There is a full height asymmetrical spinnaker included as well.
Stainless steel dinghy davits mean you can bring your dinghy out of the water for long passages or convenient storage.
Three cylinder Yanmar diesel engine has been professionally maintained by Sailcraft service in Oriental. Recent survey available for inspection by serious buyers.
Victoria includes a full four bow bimini. This is in great shape and can make a huge difference in comfort on those sunny days on the water. It is full standing height for a 6' tall person. There are full width zippers along the fore and aft edge which allows for an extra sunbrella panel to be put in place to provide additional protection from sun or rain while at dock or anchor.
Included is a custom binnacle/wheel cover. This has been custom made to include a zipper that will allow it to be compact and cover just the wheel and binnacle or to expand to also cover the included teak cockpit table (with two fold out leaves). This means you can leave this table in place more often. We enjoy eating meals at this table even more than at the comfortable table below.
Also included is a propane rail-mount grill that will give your burgers and hotdogs that extra scent of the sea. Fully equipped galley with all the utensils, pots and pans you'll need to get started
