Lauren Marie is a great racer/cruiser and very fast for the performance-minded sailor. She was built by Catalina/Morgan. The hull appears to be in great condition. There are several light abrasions on the port side amidships and one 12" diameter laminate repair that has not been cosmetically finished off. The deck appears to be solid and was recored in 2004 by Torresen Marine. There are some dents to the leading and trailing edge of the keel. The rudder appears to be solid. The mainsail and genoa appear to be in fair condition but are not racing sails. There are no other sails for this boat, but used sails are most likely available. One of the two manual bilge pumps does not operate but the electric bilge pump does operate. The drive shaft packing gland is leaking oily bilge water, as of late. There is a new transmission on the engine about ten years ago. The engine is a Pathfinder, which is a Volkswagon marinized engine and it was reported to have operated properly when it was last in the water. These engines were quite common in the 1980's. There is no survey for this boat. She is a great bargain! Come and meet Lauren Marie today. Open for offers!
