"Someday Came" is a very clean example of the proven, capable Alden Yachts 44s. She has enjoyed many upgrades, including Awlgripped topsides, dodgers, and a rebuilt engine.
"Someday Came" interior features two companionways, with the aft cabin and main saloon each having its own separate access. The aft cabin features a double berth to port and a navigation station to starboard. The head, accessible by both the aft cabin and the main saloon, is located to port, just forward of the aft cabin. The galley is forward of the aft cabin and to starboard, and features a double stainless steel sink, three burner propane stove/oven, and Corian countertops. The main saloon features settees port and starboard, with an additional sea berth above to port and plenty of stowage above to starboard. A folding leaf table serves both settees. The forward stateroom features two single upper/lower berths to port, with sail storage and a folding pipe berth to starboard. Forward of the stateroom is access to the large chain locker.
The galley has had several recent upgrades, including Corian countertops and a Grohe sink faucet. There are separate freezer and refrigerator compartments, with new refrigeration in 2006. Above the double stainless steel sink is plenty of stowage for cleaning supplies, utensils and pots/pans.
