This Custom Aluminum Trawler was built by life-long boat builder Bob Potter for the owner. It was designed as a dream vessel and reflects many fine details. It was modeled after a Dutch designed Pedro-Trawler, independently,and is made entirely of aluminum. Two and a half times lighter than steel and three times as strong, this boat will not depreciate in value. It is a family boat and the accommodations reflect this with 2 staterooms, a generous galley, custom made furniture and central vacuum. The interior is teak cabinetry with paneling, floor, vanities and sliding doors.The exterior of this vessel is also trimmed with teak and has been well maintained. The custom sliding door from the cockpit invites you into the spacious main salon. The salon has a double fabric trimmed settee,with teak wood trim, on the port side and a matching chair across on the starboard. The starboard side dinette is L-Shaped and includes a side chair wrapped around a half-moon teak table. The full size galley is equipped with a full size refrigerator, double stainless steel sinks,3 burner stove-top and microwave. It is complete with upper and lower full sized cupboards along with good counter space. There is a lower helm with bench seating and handcrafted steering wheel. Full viewing is throughout and has customized window coverings. Steps lead down to a forward V-berth stateroom with berths on either side. The head has a stand-up shower, toilet. vanity and stainless steel sinks.The aft stateroom features opposite berths, privacy sliding door and plenty of storage cupboards.
The flybridge has custom coverings for the helm seat and lounge bench seats. A traditional trawler mast and boom sits aft of mid-ship. The helm has a stainless steel wheel and gauges are housed in a protective wood casing. The walk-around is very wide and features teak trim railing and hardtop coverings. There is a teak bow pulpit and protective cover over the windlass.
The 2011 Avon tender is held in place with an Atkinson Hoyle davit system that is fitted onto a finely finished teak swim platform.

The "Alida" has custom accommodations for 6. The staterooms are beneath the deck and accessed forward via teak steps. The master has two adjacent berths with built-in teak storage cupboards underneath. The aft berths are solidly built in either side and also afford storage below the berths and across the aft wall. Currently, the owners are utilizing this space as a laundry/storage area with a front load washer/dryer combo unit and small freezer. The dinette can be used as 2 single berths as well the sofa in the main salon.
The L shaped galley is full size and offers custom upper and lower teak cupboards. There is a Norcold large refrigerator with freezer compartment, triple burner electric stove-top with overhead Samsung microwave and double stainless steel sinks. Across on the starboard is the L shaped neutrally upholstered dinette, with an optional chair, surrounding the half moon teak table.
The hull and exterior is painted with two-part polyurethane paint over primer. Horizontal deck areas are painted this material in non-skid finish. The cabin trunk, deck-house and fly bridge are finished the same as the hull.
The underwater surfaces have anti-fouling bottom paint. Sacrificial zinc anodes fitted on short tab extensions from underwater plating.
The hull, deck and deck structures are aluminum plating over aluminum framing. Hull framing consists of closely spaced hull frames with longitudinal stringers, chines and deck clamp, all welded.
This vessel is defined with custom canvas coverings in the flybridge over the helm, and also over the companion benches. The tender also is protected with a covering. Along the euro-walk-around the attractive green striped canvas completes the deck railings. The exterior finishes have been professionally maintained and reflect the pride of this owner
This vessel is powered with 2, Volvo-Penta, 150HP diesel engines with Volvo-Penta Dup-Prop stern drive units. The engines are securely mounted on welded bearers. The engine compartment is under the aft deck with very good access for engine maintenance and service.
The fuel tank is welded aluminum secured in the deep bilge forward of the engine compartment.The fuel system is common to both propulsion engines and diesel generator. Access to the fuel tank is excellent.
