The Dufour 1800 is a fast small cruiser that is fairly typical of the middle years of Dufour design, with a full-bodied hull topped by a square looking coach roof. It has four berths, including a separate fore cabin ahead of a mid-ships heads compartment. The fractional rig gives easy handling with good performance.

The accommodation consists of a v-berth in the forecabin, separated from the saloon by the heads compartment. There is s sliding door to the saloon, and a curtain separating the forepeak from the heads. The heads compartment has marine WC and washbasin.
Upon entering the cabin via the companionway the chart table is to port, and a galley to starboard with a Plastimo Neptune 2500 burner, a sink and plenty of storage.
Under the companionway is the space that would have been occupied by an engine in the inboard powered versions of this yacht - in the outboard powered version, as in this case, this is a huge locker space big enough to hold a dinghy and outboard
