NEED TO SELL ! GREAT CONDITION ! ALL OFFERS WELCOMED !
This Scarab Sport F300 was at the Miami International Boat Show in 1988, introducing a fully enclosed transom & B-Bracket. Hot A.C.T. has all options imaginable for it's time...lovingly cared for by original owner.
Both of the Yamaha's are fully serviced as of this 2nd week of Sept...the boat had everything done to make it ready for your enjoyment. No trailer but I will assist in delivery by land or water. This Scarab has a full cockpit cover & never left in the water. She's both solid & overbuilt back in the day...mostly fiberglass. Not much wood & no foam to speak of...I have run this Scarab at up to 70 plus occasionally, but most of the time is cruised to keys & rarely fished. Extremely low hours on these two-stoke Saltwater Series 250's. They are fuel injected motors, & both are in excellent condition. The boat is original gelcoat & motors original paint. This vessel is detailed weekly & was maintained by Bill Potter until he retired. The original fuel tank was replaced by Merrill Stevens several years ago with a factory tank & was cleaned/pumped out last month. The canvas top needs replacement & I took that into account regarding the current asking price. Vessel has a Kenwood stereo/amp, Garmin GPS, Icom VHF all in good working order. Has stainless trim tabs but not sure if they're working. This boat is so well balanced & I had run 13 people down to the keys for Columbus Day Regatta, with ease. The boat has seating for approximately 9 adults & cabin is clean with newer cushions. I added a head to the boat which is nice when offshore. The props are stainless & in perfect shape but they're old technology. This boat will perform even better with the newest designed Mercury or Yamaha Vpro props.
Bottom line is that this is the first time Hot A.C.T. has ever been for sale, since new!
It will sell very quickly, upon initial inspection.
This vessel is truly a rare find for anyone looking for a vintage Scarab Sport 30, with an enclosed transom.
You will not find a better Scarab of this age & in this incredible condition anywhere....
I have the boat on a borrowed trailer in Old Cutler Bay, so we can launch for sea trail at Matheson Hammock, only 2 minutes away.
