This one-owner 1997 Camano Troll with just 1300 original hours is now on the market. Camano 31s we produced from 1991 to 2007. They retain their value extremely well.
Below the waterline there is a broad, deep keel which protects the propeller and a double chine is built in forward. This Keel-Form hull not only reduces the bow wave and the effort needed to push forward but its shape permits the engine to be located lower in the hull. This reduces the center of gravity giving a more steady and level ride, and it also allows a very shallow drive shaft entry which further improves efficiency and performance.
Camano's are known for the fibreglass construction which is generally stronger and far better quality than that of its contemporaries. The outer layer of the fiberglass hull laminate consists of fiberglass matte and polyester resin to help prevent water absorption and osmotic blistering. Camano used top quality gelcoat that resists stress cracking and shines up very well. Topsides there is no exterior woodwork to maintain.
This Camano is designed for two. In this generously sized salon helm and crew enjoy excellent 360 degree vision thanks to the large bright windows. Up top is a spacious fly bridge to relax and entertain on which would put many larger boats to shame.
Powered by the single Volvo diesel and assisted in tight spaces by a bow thruster and large rudder marina maneuvers are less stressful.
Additional details coming soon. In the meantime make an appointment to come and see her in person. You'll be impressed.
