Lazybones has proven to be a superb long distance power cruising vessel and has exceeded the owners expectations.
Her comfort and ease in a heavy seaway is very rewarding.
Visibility from the pilothouse and saloon helm stations are outstanding.
The space and liveability of the layout is unsurpassed.
The owners have had seven wonderful, trouble free years full time live aboard cruising.
Be keen to note that this is a full displacement cat with the load carrying and seakeeping abilities to match. Features such as high buoyant bows, high bridgedeck clearance, full length keels which track well under one motor and the overall robust construction define the vessel's true capabilities. She has the tough Yanmar LHA STP 230hp engines of choice for many commercial vessels and is often on passage with just one motor running, giving the obvious benefits. She is. an outstanding self sufficient vessel and will also lend herself well to dive, surf or any other term charter operations.
She has a huge range, 2000nm with standard tank fill and 3000nm with the two extra Turtle Pack 1000 litre collapsible deck tanks.
Sleeping up to seven people, the boat has two double cabins with Queen size beds, the owner's cabin has an LCD TV, and two twin cabins. The double cabins forward are spacious with massive headroom, have good drawer, locker and wardrobe spaces and a large overhead hatch and Dorade vent.

There is a split air conditioning system, one horsepower Panasonic 2400 BTU, that ducts to the saloon and the two double cabins fwd. The lower helm is in the saloon and doubles exactly with the upper helm, except radar, in the pilothouse.
Moving aft, the galley is to port directly opposite the neat dinette. Then outside to the shaded aft deck area, with table and chairs and huge permanent gas BBQ with heavy steel hotplate and griddle.
A bathroom is sited amidships in each hull, with TECMA electric heads, full size enclosed shower, hot and cold water, and porcelain sinks. There is an opening port in each.
The twin cabins are at the stern of each hull and the port side cabin has only one available berth, a BOSCH 5 litre front loading washing machine and a holding tank taking the space opposite the one bunk.
The interior was completed professionally at the builder's yard and it is evident in the high class fit and finish. Foam backed vinyl linings clad the interior and may be easily removed for access to wiring etc.
All lighting is LED, except for fluorescent lighting in galley and heads. Hella fans are generously distributed,
Just to port as you enter from the aft deck, perfectly located for inside or outside dining and loaded with kit and equipment. Four burner stainless steel FISHER and PAYKEL gas stove and oven. Naval Architect, the late Dave Jackman, specialised in designing boats for the offshore fishing fleet in the rough West Australian waters. He also had a special interest in long range power cruising vessels, and apparently, he contributed to the Passage Maker magazine in the USA in the early days. He was very well respected and had won several industry awards.
Western Australia has an excellent record of high quality aluminium boat building. Among these fine building companies was Supercraft. This company built many of Dave Jackman’s designs, including the custom build of Lazybones. The insurance marine surveyors always comment on the excellent quality of the aluminium construction and high specs. of marine grade aluminium (all stamped) used in the construction throughout the vessel.
