There has been a lot of work that went into completing this yacht. It started out as a Atkins Design with some changes done by Naval Architect Craig A. Gording of Friday Harbor. The builder Tom Brandt was the owner shipwright who finished this boat. The hull and deck were built by Ken Riply & Company in Marysville with hull completion done in 1992. The Model was called Seawing 43.
The boat was then stored for two years and then moved into a new building where the shipwrights finished it to ABYC Standards. In June of 2002 she was launched into the water in Tacoma Washington.
The owner/builder is a Master Shipwright. At the time he was working on the boat, he worked for the US Navy in Composites on ships and subs. He had planned to sail the boat after he retired. He was injured on a job and plans then changed and the boat was sold to currant owner. This boat was built to very high standards that seldom one see .
Engine in the boat is a Perkins 4-236 85hp with only 568 hrs. with dripless type stuffing box. She has Color Furuno TFT Nav-Net 36 mile Radar / GPS / Chartplotter / Depth Sounder, Robertson AP200 DL Autopilot with F200 remote, New Bow Thruster in 9 2012 ) and more !
