FLUKE is the most extensively equipped Whaleback to ever come on the brokerage market. Hull and superstructure molds from high-grade female tooling. Hull construction includes use of USA-made, Cook® gel coat. Closed cell PVC sandwich core used above waterline; solid hand-laid PPG® combo mat ﬁberglass below waterline, with blister-resistant vinylester resins, utilized on ﬁrst, two laminates. Superstructure includes end-grain balsa and core mat for print-through reduction. Teak aft deck. Boat, side and fore decks have GripTex® non-skid ﬁnish. Bulwark ceiling to have molded plank lines with gelcoat ﬁnish. Polyurethane formulate marine sealants used at hull-to-deck, boat deck joints and exterior ﬁttings. Marine-grade plywood bulkheads with wood stringers and frames. Teak veneer walls and cabinetry with satin varnish.
The saloon is entered from the spacious covered aft deck through double Freeman welded aluminum doors. To port are a pair of comfortable Ekornes Stressless recliners w/ matching footstools. To starboard is an L-shaped oversized settee with teak hi-lo dining table. The entertainment center is located in the aft port side, while the forward starboard side includes a built-in cabinet and breakfast bar with matching swivel stools. The entire area is enhanced by carpeting, teak valances, custom drapes and blinds and Phantom screen.
The oversized galley on FLUKE is open to the saloon. There is an abundance of storage in cabinets and drawers as well as a large, deep pantry in the companionway. The large master stateroom is located forward and features a queen-size island berth with a memory foam mattress. There is ample storage in two hanging lockers and multiple drawers. Four opening ports and two overhead hatches make it light and airy.
The ensuite head is located in the aft port side of the master stateroom. There is an oversized stall shower with molded seat with temperature controlled fixture, a sink with Corian counter top and lighted vanity/medicine cabinet and a full-size Sealand VacuFlush fresh water head. There is also a Seagull filtered water system for drinking water at the sink. A large linen cabinet and custom ceramic floor tile finish the room.
The guest stateroom is on the port side forward of the saloon. It is very large and features a queen berth with custom mattress. There is a large desk with drawers, book shelves and hanging locker. The large opening window and single opening port hole create an inviting space.
The guest head has a large stall shower, Sealand full-size VacuFlush fresh water head, large linen closet, custom ceramic floor tile and Corian topped vanity. There is also a Seagull filtered water system for drinking water at the sink. The stack GE washer/dryer is located just outside the guest head.
The pilothouse of the Whaleback is a very popular feature. With 360 degree panoramic view, comfortable custom electric Stidd helm chair, convertible L-shaped settee with hi-lo table, Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer and wet bar, this is the place to be underway. With opening windows port, starboard and aft, Freeman dutch aluminum doors it is a great place to enjoy a sunrise or sunset. It is also often used for an office space as well.
