SERENITY is a classic Hunter 36. When Hunter Marine updated their popular 356 with the Hunter 36, it ushered in a new era in quality sailboats.
With a design from Glenn Henderson and the building experience of Hunter Marine the 36 has proven itself a thoroughbred among cruiser/racers.
SERENITY is not only quick but comfortable. She has a spacious cockpit that comes with a full compliment of cushions. It is easy to make the transition from the cockpit to the foredeck, with Hunters' mainsheet arch system the way is always clear!
Below deck there is a spacious and extremely comfortable salon. The salon table has just been refinished. To starboard the galley is not only good looking, but user friendly. You have a large size refrigerator, microwave, and stove along with double stainless steel sinks and endless counter tops. Just aft of the galley is the full beam aft berth. Here there is plenty of room to stretch out no matter how tall you are. There is plenty of storage and a hanging locker. If that's not enough in 2010 she had a fresh water electric head, now that's just nice..
The nav station is to port which includes a Clarion stereo system, VHF, and electric control panel. The A/C controls are to starboard at the bottom of the companionway. The forward V-berth is spacious and comfortable with a privacy door and shutters into the salon. There are 2 hanging lockers and plenty of natural light from the above hatch.
SERENITY has been well maintained. She comes with spare oil filters and belts for the engine as well as all the manuals and all original paperwork from Hunter Marine.
She really is a great example of a classic Hunter 36 who will not stay around long!
