Awlgrip medium green, semi-displacement hull, protected prop, hand layup using vinylester resin. Forward bilge is insulated for cruising south with food storage. Twenty two separate molds were used to make the boat. Pilot house windows are all aluminum framed quality and made by Beaumont. Three large non-opening windshields with panographic wipers/washers. Side windows slide open and are fitted with Bali window shades.
A custom fitted stainless steel hand rail extends from the anchor platform to the aft of the main pilot house cabin. Julia Bryant III has a large workable cockpit including under deck enclosed storage two large hatches to the aft bilge and a convenient transom door opening to the full width stern platform. Access to the flybridge is located on the forward cockpit side aft of the pilot house. The flybridge is completely secured with a stainless steel rail covering the complete house top.
Sleeps six in three cabins. Forward cabin layout is the favorable island queen size berth with complete side access port and starboard. Storage is in abundance with several port and starboard enclosed lockers, (2) hanging lockers, a large compartment under the entire berth. Good ventilation and natural light is provided by an opening man sized overhead hatch.
Next aft to port is a separate cabin with upper/lower pullman type berths made private by a pull-back curtain. A built-in drawer arrangement is located underneath. The large walk-in head, equipped with a separate shower stall, vanity with sink, linen storage and electric flush is opposite to starboard. An opening overhead hatch provides light and ventilation.
Great storage is located in an apartment size sole to ceiling enclosed cabinet aft the pullman setup. Up three steps to the 360 degree visibility pilot house that provides not only a separate command helm station for the captain, but also provides out of the way forward facing comfortable seating for the crew.
The starboard helm has a layout providing finger tip control to the array of navigational aides and guidance systems. The AC/DC panel, wiper controls and thruster stick are properly arranged for instant control.
The helmsman has the choice of standing or sitting when at the controls. A complete galley is located up and behind the helm station, including an electric cook top, deep sink, front loading Isotherm refrigeration system. Incorporated with and aft of the galley is an L shaped seating arrangement with a table ideal for your laptop! Opposite to port is a comfortable U shaped dinette with table that converts all to a double berth. A Donby microwave is located under the forward end of the settee. Enclosed storage is also found under the dinette.
Julia Bryant III's interior is finely crafted from Maine Beech with a satin finish, complemented with a gloss finish teak and holly sole throughout the boat. Great headroom throughout and generous amounts of usable storage.
