Entering the salon from the cockpit one enters a bright, airy salon with all of the appointments of a much larger yacht. To port and starboard are comfortable settees with the port settee converting into an additional berth. Moving forward and to port, one finds a large dinette capable of seating six comfortably. The entertainment center is situated in view of the dinette, galley and settees. Moving forward and down three steps, the galley is situated to starboard. The guest stateroom to port includes two single berths with a filler to make a queen berth. The guest head is situated to port and includes shower, vacuflush system, and vanity. Moving forward to the master stateroom, one finds a queen, island berth, lots of hanging locker space and stowage. The master head is situated to starboard and includes stand up shower stall, vacuflush system, and vanity.
The flowing layout of the salon allows for the interaction of all owners and guests and is surprisingly roomy relative to other European styled sedans of this size. Additionally, the layout of her flybridge is also accommodating allowing as many as eight owners and guest to sit comfortably. The flybridge door leading to the cockpit provides a very quiet ride from the flybridge.
Cherry cabinetry accents the very functional galley which includes solid surface countertops, refrigerator/freezer, three-burner flat surface stove, coffee maker, microwave oven, and hideaway trash receptacle. The “L” shaped galley is situated forward of the salon to starboard.
Buckwilder features top of the line Garmin electronics suite including all of the components needed to relieve the captain of workload and make boating safer and more enjoyable.
She includes an optional 9.0 KW Onan Genset with sound shield (2420 hours). This provides her with plenty of power to run her systems while underway and on the hook.
The 440 Sedan provides wide side decks relative to other euro-styled, forty+-foot boats. Ground tackle is cleverly stowed and storage in the cockpit and decks is more than ample. Her bridge is enormous including two custom helm seats with a centerline helm, and a sun lounge capable of seating five to six adults. Visibility from the helm is excellent and the full enclosure protects flybridge occupants from the elements.
Buckwilder is powered by Optional Cummins 480CE Diesel engines producing 446 HP each. Her engine room is well laid out providing ample access to mechanical components. Access is provided through the cockpit, keeping maintenance gear and crew out of the interior.
