Tanja is a very nice example of the respected Bavaria 37 Cruiser. Bought by the current owner in January, 2011, she was cruised extensively in the Mediterranean. The owner and his wife then sailed across the Atlantic from the Canaries to Fort Lauderdale and then to Deale, MD.
He reports that the boat behaved extremely well in 35 knot winds in the middle of the Atlantic, and maintained a steady 6 to 7 knots speed for the whole 21 days crossing, which is the normal period of time taken by 43 feet sailboats.
If you are locking for a fast, comfortable, proven bluewater boat, you should take a look at Tanja. She is available for inspection near our office inside Herrington Harbour North Marina in Deale, MD.
