The Morris M-Series ignited the daysailing category when the M36 was launched in 2004. The M29 continues that tradition adding to the thrill and passion of the sport of sailing. Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, the boat is a graceful combination of classic style, the latest in naval architecture and modern boatbuilding materials. While intended for short or single-handed sailing, the M29 has a generous cockpit making her a comfortable platform for sailing with friends. Her Morris Yachts quality construction and finish, together with her S&S design pedigree will guarantee lasting service and value.
Easy to rig, launch, and sail, the M29 can be raced easily by a crew of three. Weight reduction and management were top priorities addressed by 100% resin infusion construction of the hull, deck and all internal structures. The carbon spar and rudder are built from Pre-Preg carbon and cooked in an autoclave. All control systems have been designed for the lowest loads possible so that not only is she a snappy racer, but all ages and skill levels can enjoy her agile and responsive performance.
