This Dyer 29' is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and is definitely one of the cleanest / well maintained Dyer 29's of its age currently on the market!! She is currently stored in a heated shed for convenient winter showings. "The original picnic boat" is how Dyer describes the 29'. The Dyer 29' has earned her reputation as a boat that is comfortable while fishing offshore, or watching the club races on Sunday afternoon. Her classic "Down East" lines, the attention to detail by her Rhode Island builders, and her sea kindly handling characteristics are but a few reasons the Dyer 29' has enjoyed her enviable reputation in the highly competitive boating industry. "Osprey" is a fantastic example of this legacy.
To quote the Dyer brochure, "Every Dyer 29' is built to reflect its owner's requirements and tastes". "Osprey" not only does that, she reflects how nice a vessel can be, if cared for well. You should come to see this Dyer 29', you will be pleased that you made the effort before buying another downeast style vessel. She is powered by a 2001 Mercruiser 340hp Fresh Water Cooled engine with approx. 1000 original hours. Cruise speed is approx. 15 kts burning only 7 GPH. The engine is quiet, looks great, and runs well. "Osprey" is currently in the water here in Noank, CT. and ready to be shown by appointment; more importantly, she is ready to be used. Simply turn the key and put your things aboard and enjoy.
