Accommodations

The Carter 30 offers 6 berths in 2 cabins with approx. 6' standing headroom. V-berth forward with infill converting to double and hatch to deck. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet, stainless steel washbasin and shower with manual pump-out and teak grating. Saloon has an L-settee to port converting to a double berth and a single settee berth to starboard (both approx. 6'3" long), both fitted with lee cloths, and a central table with folding leaves. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth aft. Galley to port consisting of a 4-burner gas hob with oven and grill, large coolbox and stainless-steel sink with manually pumped cold water supplied from 80 litre freshwater tank. Upholstered in blue velour.

Masthead Bermudan sloop. Proctor silver anodised and Z Spars boom new longer 2016. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Rotostay headsail furling system.

Indirect cooling. Single lever Morse controls with electric start. 52 litre fuel capacity in a stainless-steel tank.

History and Construction

Built in 1979 at the Teliga yard in Poland to a design by Dick Carter. White GRP hull and superstructure with moulded non-slip deck surfaces. Lead fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self-draining aft cockpit with teak laid seats.
