This legendary Ted Brewer designed, double-ender Nimble 30 is not your average production boat! Built in the USA, this stout performer offers functional grace, structural ruggedness and visual charm. The Nimble 30 is a very solid vessel, known for its enormously strong hull construction. One of the Nimble 30 fleet is even reported to have crossed the Atlantic!
There were only a limited number of these classic boats built and this vessel has the honor of being Hull #1. Her distinctive canoe-ended design frequently draws approval from other boaters when they see her on the water. Built in 1985, this sloop rigged vessel has been extremely well cared for and maintained. Her current owner has owned Sky since 2005, during which time selected updates and improvements were made as needed.
With her rugged construction, Sky is well suited for cruising offshore and with her practical interior design, she would also be a comfortable live-aboard; however, one of Sky’s greatest features is her shallow draft, making her incredibly suited to the Galveston Bay area. Her owner has never had a problem getting out on the water, even after the strongest “Northers” that keep most other boaters at the dock. In addition, this classic beauty is an easily sailed vessel, capable of being single-handed.
Overall, the Nimble 30 is a great “go anywhere”, sturdy, easy to handle vessel, perfect for both first time buyers as well as experienced sailors. Nimble owners tend to hang on to their vessels, so call the LISTING BROKER for an appointment to see this yacht soon. We won't have her long!

Traditional nautical style and attractive upholstery enhances the efficient spaces below decks and generous headroom makes it easy to move around from fore to aft. A private V-berth cabin is forward and offers a room to get dressed as well as provides adequate storage. Moving aft, the private head is to starboard and a hanging locker is to port. Continuing aft, the main salon features an L-shaped settee to port with a centerline folding table mounted on the centerboard trunk. In its up position, the table serves as a comfortable dining area. In the down position, the table allows easy passage through the salon and space for the starboard settee to convert a berth. Cabinets and shelves line the hull behind the settees. There is good light and ventilation throughout the yacht. The galley brackets the companionway and offers a two-burner propane stove and oven, top loading ice box, stainless steel sink to starboard and abundant storage throughout.
