The Mason 44 will always be a classic, ocean capable, highly regarded cruising sailboat. BRAVE HEART is the cutter rigged, aft cockpit version. The Al Mason series of sailing yachts has a firm reputation for quality, handsome looks and good, safe sea-keeping capabilities.
This model, Hull No. 145, with two heads and two staterooms and aft cockpit appeals to sailors that feel most comfortable with the lower profile and steering from the helm, aft. These hulls were hand laid to Lloyd's +100A1 specifications. A user-friendly design with a draft of 6.25' and a mast of approx. 60' off the waterline, the boat is designed for blue-water sailing and also ICW friendly.
Please review the specs and call for an appointment to inspect this Blue-Water boat.
Update: the owner has worked on his boat, had a punch list to have various issues addressed by his boat yard, stripped the yacht of his personal belongings and the boat is Ready-to-be-Seen. The Yard has been working on the teak decks and re-plugging any fastener that needed attention. The decks are quite solid with lots of teak depth. Many maintenance issues have been addressed. Some new equipment has been added, such as a bilge pump.
Also, could be included and negotiated in the sale, is a 5000# mooring in Falmouth Foreside, ME, near the Portland Yacht Club. All ground tackle is in good order.

This Mason 44 represents a good value for a capable cruiser and solid, offshore sailing vessel. The Owner has not been able to use the boat as anticipated and it has spent a large percentage of time on-the-hard. For these reasons, he has decided to sell.
The boat has been kept maintained in a mechanical and structural way. The Owner is a realistic man and therefore has priced the boat to be sold.
Please review the Specs and call if you have questions. There is a large inventory of other items on board, both functional to daily use and many spare parts, etc.
