STELLA EDEN was built in Stewart, Florida in 1991 by Bruce Osborne’s Offshore Catamarans off the molds of the Lock Crowther Super Shockwave 42. In 2001, the hulls were cut apart in the middle and a 4’ section was scarfed in extending the overall length to 46’. The hulls are cored with Corecell foam.
STELLA EDEN has long narrow hulls with twin daggerboards plus the characteristic Crowther tulip bows. She is easily sailed in the low to mid teens and is capable of speeds in excess of 20 knots.
She has been a fixture on the mid-Maine coast as a day-charter boat. With some simple additions she could easily be made into a cruising boat.
