Interior

Spacious, open, and light are three words that are most often spoken when entering the cabin of this center cockpit sailboat. The Hunter 456 has a modern feel, but traditional in the sense that every inch of space is used to an advantage. The forward stateroom has a pullman berth on the starboard side with a private vacu-flush head and shower all the way in the V. There is storage in this guest stateroom under the berth (inner spring mattress) and in the cedar lined hanging lockers. There is even a seat to sit and put on shoes or relax with a good book. Lighting and electrical outlets are very well placed in the forward stateroom.

Moving aft to the main salon, the look is very rich in part because of the leather and the gorgeous teak. The high gloss dining table will go down to make a berth for two adults. It is also roomy enough to seat 6-8 for dinner. Opposite the dinette on the port side is a full size settee. Dining, relaxing, or entertaining....this is all accomplished in the 456.

For extended cruising or living aboard, the galley is completely equipped with microwave; 3 burner LPG stove top/ oven; double stainless sinks; storage cabinets and drawers; top and front loading refrigerator w/separate freezer - both lighted. Countertops are durable Corian. The floor in the galley is practical with a non-slip surface that makes cooking safe in a seaway.

The Master Stateroom is breathtakingly beautiful....the queen sized inner spring mattress adorns the berth. Forty cubic feet is the sum of multiple hanging lockers (all cedar lined), drawers, shelving, computer desk/or vanity, and overhead teak handrails. Headroom in the master stateroom is 6'6" and there are 8 opening ports and one overhead hatch. The sole is teak and holly. There is a private, separate head w/vanity and separate tub w/shower in the aft stateroom.
