Supplied new by ourselves this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS has done plenty of sailing in her life and has also benefited from some substantial upgrades. She has the quite unusual convertible four cabin layout rarely found on the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 DS. Recent adventures have seen her cruise as far North as Lofoten in Norway as well as the Baltic. "Scrabble" is realistically priced.
Twin aft cabin version.
Heads compartment at aft end of saloon to port. Includes sea toilet (new electric version fitted 2018) with 90L holding tank evacuating by gravity to sea or pumped out at shore station by deck fitting. Wash hand basin with hot and cold pressurised water. Enclosed shower compartment. Cupboards for storage.
Galley opposite to starboard with double stainless steel sinks, refrigerator, two burner gas cooker with grill and oven. Many lockers, cupboards and drawers for storage of utensils and vitals.
Saloon seating and table raised for better views through large all round windows. Similarly raised area includes chart table and seats fore and aft. Switch panels to control all on board electrics and navigational instruments and displays within easy reach of here.
Modular forward cabin area can be structured as one or two cabins. In single cabin mode it is a spacious area with seating, double berth and en suite heads / shower compartment. In two cabin mode the seating area is partitioned off and the seat converted to a twin bunk berth.
Double spreader mast head rig. Mast and spars are aluminium. In mast reefing system for mainsail and roller reefing for headsail. Solid kicking strap vang system. Whisker pole.
Standing rigging is stainless steel and was all replaced in 2015.

12 volt electrical system with power delivered from three 110Ah batteries for the domestic systems and one dedicated to engine start functions. These units are all charged via an engine driven alternator or when connected to shore power via a 50AH charger unit.
In 2015 a solar panel array was fitted capable of delivering a 60W charge rate.
Lighting in all cabins has been upgraded to LED units
Speed, depth and wind information all displayed on Raymarine ST60 instruments mounted on helm pod unit.
Raymarine chart plotter (New 2018) with Navionics cartography mounted in helm pod. Also shows radar information from scanner mounted on Scanstrut pole aft. (New 2015).
Below decks at the chart table there is a second Raymarine plotter (circa 2013).
