The 'open plan' interior of the TomCat 9.7 feels wonderfully spacious and light with almost 360° panoramic views even when seated in the salon area, standing in the hulls, or from the galley. The plate glass windows give excellent optical view point from both inside and the cockpit. She’s roomy, particularly for a couple, and there’s nothing to compare with going to sleep in the owners berth looking at the stars overhead.  Even on rainy nights, she’s dry and cozy, while you wait for the sun to appear again.  There is an outside 'sailing position' for the helmsman with full protection under the hard top. 

The owner's version layout of the vessel includes a queen+ size owner's berth forward with vanity and dressing area.  There is a guest double berth cabin in the starboard aft hull. The salon table may also convert to a large double berth to accommodate up to 6 people total. A spacious galley with plenty of counter top space is located in the starboard side. The composting head and hot water shower are aft on the port side. There is full standing headroom throughout hulls, center salon, and cockpit. Five opening hatches provide ventilation.

The galley is located in the starboard hull and has a generous amount of cabinetry, shelves, and storage space. There is over 10 sq/ft of Formica countertop space and a 4.6 cu. ft. fridge, gas stove with oven, and a stainless steel double basin sink.
