This Maritimo 500 Offshore Convertible is a classic flybridge cruiser equally suited to game fishing as it is to cruising. The spacious saloon and galley has two seating areas, the forward one with a dining table and the aft area a coffee table. Both tables feature the high gloss teak finish found throughout the boat which is in superb condition. There is a Bose lifestyle sound system with two DVD players and a large hard drive of movies. The galley has a large upright fridge and the freezer below it has three pull-out drawers making it easy to use at sea. The four-burner cooktop is backed up by a convection microwave, mounted immediately below it, and below that is the dishwasher.
The accommodation features three cabins and two heads. The master cabin is amidships on the port side with an ensuite bathroom. The VIP guest cabin in the bows is spacious with access to an ensuite head which also acts as the day head. The third cabin has two bunks, one of which is above a set of storage drawers while the other is low down. This is a well-appointed cabin which is suitable as a guest cabin or crew cabin
Out in the cockpit there is a “Reelax” fighting chair, large live bait tank, lots of rod holders, a pair of Rupp marine outriggers and 11 rocket launcher rod holders at the rear of the flybridge. The enclosed flybridge is bright and comfortable with full air-conditioning and access via the internal stairs to the saloon. Down in the engine room are twin Caterpillar C12 Acert engines of 715 horsepower each. There is also a 17kw Caterpillar generator, 140 litre per hour water maker and washer dryer.
