She was built out of plywood and epoxy and is very durable. The boat's maidentrip was in 2013 and sailed across the belgian coast to holland. The whole boat was built by the current owner (also an architect) and he added 6% in size. This makes a beautiful, wide ship with plenty of natural light coming in. She is ready to sail but needs some finishing in the aft cabin and storage area (also in the aft). When finished, she sleeps 6 people divided over a double V-berth in the nose, 2 simple berths in the saloon and a big aft cabin with double bed (not yet finished).
She sails likes she looks, fast and agile. The double - chine, flat bottom hull creates extra inside volume and makes it more stable than a round hull.
'Gaillard' offers a lot of boat for this price and will be delivered ready to sail. The aft can be finished following the plan or adapted to your own needs.
