Surveyors' Description:

"The Hinemoa is a classic wood blue water trawler, built in the pacific northwest. The vessel is single screw, #2 diesel. 120 volt electric is supplied by a Yanmar genset or shore power. The foredeck is raised and accommodates the anchoring gear. Teak steps fastened to the fore deck break lead up from the side decks. The stern is square. The main cabin is centered on the hull and is a walk around. The side decks are covered by the boat deck. Some shelter to the cabin sides and decks is provided by gullwing supports. There are two cuddy cabins, one forward and the other aft. Each cabin is entered either through skylight hatches or through spiral staircases in the main cabin. The hull is wood. Construction is wood plankes over steam bent (or sawn) oak frames, semi-discplacement, square stern, with a slightly raked stem. L.O.A measured 55' from the anchor chock to the aft swim step edge. Beam is 15'. There is a full galley and two helms. The vessel is well appointed in teak."

SALON ARRANGEMENT

Salon is located midship forward of the galley with Teak framed leather chairs to starboard and a dinette to port. There is an entertainment console in forward salon with a 32" TV and a complete H i-Fi stereo system.

MAIN CABIN ARRANGEMENT

There is a spiral staircase aft cabin accessing the guest suite and engine room below. The galley is aft cabin and the salon forward of that mid cabin. The pilot house is raised and forward of all.

DINING ARRANGEMENT

A Dining Set was arranged in the forward Salon.

ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENT MASTER STATEROOM

In the forward cuddy is a Master Stateroom Berth with Head just aft. The head is equipped with an electric toilet and a shower stall. there is queen bunk, closet space and cabinets to starboard, and hatch above for egress to the fore deck and ventilation

GUEST STATE ROOM

The guest state room is accssed via the spiral staircas leading down from the aft main cabin. Running fore and aft are two single bunks. In between these along the rear bulkhead is an office work desk. There is a guest head with a bath tub just forward.

HELM STATION

The helm station is accessed stepping up from the salon, either port or starboard side. The windows and windsheilds provide a 360 degree wide view. The binacle is very deep and appears to be made of varnished oak providing navigational and communications equipment as well as engine monitoring gauges and alarms. The AC and DC branch breakers and electric systems monitors are within reach. The genset instrumentation and start/stop controls are also in the binacle. There is a helm bench seat with a foot rest below the wheel. All electronics and controls are easily reached and monitored from the bench. There is a chart drawer.
