"Clair de Lune" has extensive blue water cruising experience and is standing by for more. In the last 18 years (some of) her journey has been from Washington to Costa Rica, through the Panama canal, up to the Great Lakes twice, from New York City to Florida, on to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, through the Caribbean, back through the Panama canal to the Marquesas and Society Islands, and most recently from Tahiti to Hawaii then back to the San Francisco Bay...the list is expansive!
The interior has all the amenities you need for cruising and more. Refrigerator/freezer, propane stove and gimballed oven/broiler, double sink and abundant cabinetry, some of which is custom built. Plenty of lighting, navigation station with a custom console for instrumentation. The head was expanded to include a sit down shower area.
The electrical system includes includes a Ground Fault Interruptor for crew safety and all outlets are protected by circuit breakers. There is currently 700Ahrs of (new in 2021) AGM batteries for the house. A separate RedTop Optima is used for engine chores. Inverter/charger and 270amp alternator (new in 2021). 610 watts of solar panels and a 400 watt AirX wind generator help with generating power.
The boat has all the electronics you need, (the list is extensive), the fresh water system is pressurized the standing rigging was replaced in 2017, and the headsail, staysail (both serviced by a local sail loft in 2020) are mounted on SeaFurl 5 furlers. Asymmetrical spinnaker inspected in 2020. LED lighting inside and out. 2015 West Marine hypalon RIB dinghy with a 2019 9.8hp Tohatsu 2-stroke motor. 11 gallon Isotherm water heater.
