A handsome raised pilothouse trawler with traditional lines and all of the features that offshore cruisers appreciate! This was the last wood Alaskan built. She has a full-displacement hull with a 6' draft. In addition, instead of packing three staterooms below, this Alaskan has the rare "Captains Quarters" stateroom just aft of the pilothouse with two large staterooms and two equally large heads on the lower deck level. She has a much more practical layout for cruising couples. The interior is beautifully finished with grain matched teak wookwork and cabinetry throughout. The galley and salon are aft on the deckhouse level. The pilothouse features the captains quarters with a sliding window to overlook the centerline helm, expansive windows, settee and chart table. Additionally you will be impressed by the wide sidedecks, spacious flybridge, abundance of lazarette storage and the distinctive Portuguese bridge. Twin Lehman diesels offer maneuverability and economical performance. A fuel capacity of 1100 gallons is ideal for West Coast cruising from Alaska to Mexico.
This serious long range cruiser is ready for a new owner. She is a project boat that has been under renovation in a local yard. The teak decking has been removed on the foredeck and Portuguese bridge. This project needs to be completed along with some paint work, canvas and general clean up. She is not beyond bringing her back to a capable state. The photos are current. Her interior is still very nice and her engines and generator have plenty of life left in them.
This Alaskan features the rare "Captains Quarters" just aft of the pilothouse which offers a berth / office that sleeps one with a large sliding window that overlooks the helm. There are two large staterooms and two spacious heads on the lower deck level with V-berth forward. The Master stateroom features a walk-around queen berth and ensuite head with stall shower.

The U-Shaped galley on the yacht is forward and to the port side in the main salon. There is a breakfast bar with storage below that separates the galley from the main salon. From the galley there are three steps that lead to the pilothouse.. There is ample counter and cabinet space surrounding the chef. Directly across from the galley is a space for a full size side-by-side refrigerator. Whether cruising or live-aboard the galley is well designed and functional.
