The 12HP Ford Lehman is known as one of the most reliable marine engines of all time. It is a simple engine to maintain and in this vessel has great access for general maintenance. While very reliable, there are plenty of parts available should any be needed.   

This is heavily built, full displacement, fiberglass trawler constructed in the Universal boat yard, Taiwan. This yard later built the "Ocean Alexander" series of yachts and is known for quality construction. This particular design is distinguished by being relatively deep and beamy and fitted with a single Ford-Lehman engine making it not only fuel-efficient but also very reliable with minimal maintenance.
