Halcyon (meaning: a period of time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful) is a unique Morgan 45.4, designed by the Nelson/Marek team, for racing and cruising. On deck, she boasts a wide array of winches, 6 at the cockpit. 2 at the mast, and 6 at the base of the mast, to handle all running rigging, including the spinnaker pole. The mast is keel-stepped and supported by solid rod standing rigging and an adjustable backstay. The centerboard keel improves the pointing angle from 45 degrees (board up) to 35 degrees (board down). The Universal 5432 (32 hp) engine moves the boat along at 7 knots.
Below the deck, you find a spacious salon with the dinette to starboard and the galley to port. The forward and aft cabins each have centerline double berths and abundant storage. In the salon are 2 pilot berths located above the settees, and the port settee converts to a double berth. The dinette settee can be used as a single berth. Two wet heads are each accessible from the cabins and the salon. The nav station is located to starboard aft of the dinette. Below deck is appointed in the original wood construction.

Seller's Notes
The bottom was painted with Interlux in spring 2020. It is supposed to be good for 3 years.
All the systems work except the following:
I removed the hydraulic backstay adjuster and have a turnbuckle in its place. The backstay adjuster works and I would give it to the new owner, but currently, you can't make big adjustments to the mast curvature.
Headsail cover needs re-stitching. All sails are with the sailmaker for inspection and repair if needed.
To maintain 6.2 knots under power, this vessel uses less than 4 gallons of fuel consumption in 10 hours of motoring or 0.35 gallons per hour.
