The Baltic 38 DP was an iconic design of the IOR era. Designed by the late Doug Peterson and regarded by many as one his finest designs.
KALOS has benefitted from a comprehensive overhaul and upgrade over the past 10yrs with most recent service and refit works completed by the Nautor Swan service yard in Barcelona. Her recent highlights include:
TheBaltic38DPwasanexcellentexampleof one ofBaltic’ssuccessfulproductionyachts.Designedin1982by in-vogue naval architect Doug Peterson, 55 of these genuine racer/cruisers were built, proving that racing,easeof handlingandcruisingcapability couldco-existin the same hull.
The deck ergonomics were planned with both cruising and racing in mind. It had to work for both a largeracing crew and a couple. The deck was carefully engineered, comfortable and easy to work even for a small crew.
