Beneteau’s Moorings 38 model was built with a modified First 38s5 hull, a very successful racer/cruiser. Her performance sailing characteristics and comfortable accommodations make her a great boat for any location. This brilliant layout offers families, friends, and couples alike the ability to enjoy extended cruising. The interior is in the fabulous Beneteau 'art nouveau' styling of the late 1980's to early 1990's, with rounded cabinets and soft edges juxtaposed with simple straight lines. She offers a comfortable and private layout with 2 staterooms and 2 heads separated with an open galley and salon. A perfect choice for any buyer that is seeking a high performance sailboat that is equipped for comfortable cruising. 

She could use a little cosmetic attention, mainly with the vinyl headliner as is common with these older Beneteaus. It was recently replaced in all areas except the aft cabin. There have been several other recent upgrades such as new Raymarine gps chartplotter, two new heads, new galley countertop, new genoa and main sheets, and all Led interior lighting. There is a solar charge controller which will charge the 4 house batteries, and also the dedicated engine start battery if the parallel battery switch is engaged. 
She has the desired lead keel (most Beneteaus have a cast iron keel). The rig is in good condition and was taken down in 2019 and fully inspected.

All in all this is a seaworthy, quick and comfortable boat, which with very little cosmetic attention (if you're so inclined) can make the perfect Caribbean cruiser, and the best part is she's already there.
