The New DownEast PeaPods is a cold-molded strip-planked built, double-ended rowing boat. The first time you row a Peapod yacht
tender you will be hooked. They row quick & tow quick . These nimble row boats are fun to row, yet sea kindly, stable, and safe enough for even the youngest rowing enthusiast. Designed with striking lines and constructed with true New England craftsmanship, they are
called PeaPods because they are shaped like a pod of peas with a stem at each end. They can easily accommodate four adults, and
they row swift and effortlessly when fully loaded or light. If you have never rowed a boat like this, you will be amazed at how effortlessly
it moves through the water.
The hull is Red Cedar cold molded, West System planked. The seats and shear strakes are made out of cherry wood. The PeaPod is coated with clear epoxy and finished with varnish inside and out.
